"Love in Progress" revolves around the love story of Mandy and Leo. Mandy disregards her family's opposition to love and follows Leo to the countryside. In the countryside, their relationship faces many tests, conflicts between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law continue, and Leo's vegetable greenhouse business is full of problems. The appearance of Tyler and Emily further complicates the situation, with Tyler pursuing Mandy, and Emily having a complicated past with Leo. This causes frequent misunderstandings between Mandy and Leo, leading to many breakups and reconciliations. Later, Leo, Tyler and Big Brother Mark start a barbecue restaurant together, experiencing many twists and turns. Five years later, Leo is successful in his career, Mandy returns, and the two reunite, with the story heading towards its ending after many ups and downs.
