Dana was forced to marry Franco, her sister Dorine's ex-boyfriend, in order to repay her debts. Little did she know that Franco was the man she had secretly loved many years ago. It turns out that eight years earlier, Dana, as a nurse, had taken care of Franco when he was temporarily blind. During that time, the two developed feelings for each other. However, after Franco regained his sight, he mistakenly believed that Dorine was the one who had cared for him. Dorine, who only loved Franco for his money, eventually ran off with a huge sum of his assets. Heartbroken, Franco took out his anger on Dana, forcing her into marriage and tormenting her. But as they spent more time together after the wedding, Franco gradually fell in love with Dana. Meanwhile, Dana, tired of his mistreatment, decided to file for divorce.
